Enhanced Repair or Korean Glass Skin?

Enhanced Repair or Korean Glass Skin? Which Microneedling Treatment Is Right for You?

You know you want smoother, healthier looking skin. But which microneedling treatment should you choose?

At SkinRx Clinical Spa in Southlake, we personalize your treatment to your skin’s needs. Two additional options are Enhanced Repair Microneedling with ariessence pure PDGF+ and Korean Glass Skin Microneedling with Rejuran PDRN.

Both begin with microneedling. The difference is the topical formula we pair with your treatment.

What does microneedling do?

Microneedling uses tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries, activating your skin’s natural repair response. Over time, it can improve texture and the appearance of acne scars and fine lines. Topical numbing helps make the treatment more comfortable and that’s always our goal at SkinRx.

Think of microneedling as the foundation. Your enhancement adds another layer of personalized care.

Enhanced Repair: Microneedling with ariessence pure PDGF+

PDGF stands for platelet-derived growth factor, a signaling protein involved in the body’s natural repair processes. Ariessence uses a laboratory produced version of this protein. Its formula also includes hyaluronic acid for hydration, and it requires no blood draw.

At SkinRx, Enhanced Repair pairs microneedling with a topical application of ariessence pure PDGF+. We offer this option for patients interested in growth factor care alongside their treatment for texture, fine lines, and healthier-looking skin.

Korean Glass Skin: Microneedling with Rejuran PDRN

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide, an ingredient made from purified DNA fragments. Rejuran’s technology uses salmon-derived DNA, and its professional topical products are designed to complement treatments such as microneedling.

Our Korean Glass Skin option focuses on a smoother, more hydrated, luminous appearance. “Glass skin” describes that fresh, light-reflecting look associated with well-cared-for skin. It is a goal we work toward, with results that vary by patient.

What is the difference?

  Enhanced Repair Korean Glass Skin
Topical enhancement ariessence pure PDGF+ Rejuran PDRN
Key ingredient A growth factor protein Purified DNA fragments
Treatment emphasis Growth factor care alongside microneedling Hydrated, smooth, luminous-looking skin

PDGF and PDRN are different ingredients. Their benefits can overlap, and neither is automatically the better choice for every patient.

What should you expect afterward?

Temporary redness, tenderness, dryness, or mild swelling can occur. Your provider will give you specific aftercare instructions and explain when to resume makeup and active skincare. Your skin’s response and treatment intensity influence recovery.

Let’s choose based on your skin
