What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that can be used all over the body—from scalp to ankles—to improve the appearance of scars, boost collagen, or encourage hair growth. It's also a standard treatment for fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, and stretch marks.
SkinRX Clinical Spa offers Microneedling with the first and only FDA-approved device, the SkinPen.Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. The result is effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact.
Microneedling: The Benefits
Microneedling offers many benefits for your skin. The goal of the treatment is to generate collagen so that the skin feels tighter, firmer, smoother and softer.
Increased collagen improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and pores. It may take a few sessions to see the long-term results, but after one treatment your skin should instantly appear brighter (once the post-redness irritation has resolved).
Incorporating PRF Plasma or Stem Cells in your microneedling treatment can enhance your results. PRF is also the treatment SkinRX uses for Hair Regrowth/Regeneration.
Who is a good candidate?
Microneedling is very beneficial for a wide range of skin types and conditions. Everyone's skin reacts to products and treatments differently but there are a few general skin conditions to be aware of before booking an appointment.
It is not suitable for people with an active skin infection or flare up of eczema, rosacea, or perioral dermatitis. It is also not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

MicroNeedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a treatment that uses the SkinPen Medical device to create controlled, dermal micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process.
The result is effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact. MicroNeedling aids in reducing the appearance of acne scars, stimulates natural collagen production, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and shrinks enlarged pores.
This treatment includes face and neck. We also add RED LED LIGHT THERAPY immediately post treatment. We suggest 3-6 treatments for best results. See series option online.
